回复删除Dr, how about organic cacao?
回复删除Cinnamon ok but I don't like the idea of putting cinnamon (or anything else) in coffee n tea because it alters the essential nature of coffee n tea. A lil lemon in coffee n tea is ok because it neutralizes the oxalic acid.
回复删除Tea has high oxalate content, and since the most common type of kidney stone builds on oxalic acid, drinking tea is verboten for kidney stone patients. But recent research suggests, though it seems counterintuitive, that green tea actually helps minimize the risk of kidney stones.
Many other green, leafy vegetables contain oxalic acid (or calcium or potassium oxalate) as do coffee, tea, and chocolate. Rhubarb leaves are quite high in oxalic acid and are definitely poisonous, but the stalks are safe to eat.
Cinnamon in a cup of chicory (or grain coffee) should be alright.
Dr Berg's American English is very clear and understandable, not like the likes of Bill Clinton.
