  2. Metformin is a joke. Diet and exercise is advice anyone can give you and nobody wants to pay a doctor $100 whose only remedy is diet and exercise. So they give you the metformin to justify their existence. And it has side affects; I haven't taken it in over 5 years. IT NEVER LOWERED MY BLOOD SUGAR. IT IS A JOKE.

  8. I was diagnosed type 2 diabetes three years ago. I took metformi for 15 days only. I hated it. I controlled it with diet change weight loss and some herbs and spices. I am all right now. Pharma companies are biggest thieves in the world in fact devil's.

  9. Congrats on improving your health, sir. I would like to make a few important points, however, as each person's body may be different and need to consider different aspects of their eating habits before they can improve as you did. It's not exclusively about carbohydrates. The right kind of carbs is absolutely necessary for good health and producing energy in the body. But it's important to realize there are good and bad carbs. I stopped eating all processed foods and cane sugar (even organic), all wheat products, GMO foods, prepackaged drinks such as soda and fruit juices, etc. and started eating fresh, organic fruits (good carbs with necessary cofactors), coconut sugar (extremely low glycemic index), organic honey in my green tea in moderation, freshly squeezed carrot juice, etc. Some foods have a high sugar content while actually LOWERING the blood sugar....fruit such as figs are known for this. It is known to be one food that can reduce appetite and risk of diabetes because of the type of sugar and cofactors that are in it. Looking exclusively at sugar or carb content in a food is a huge mistake and not the complete picture. You must consider many other things when making an informed decision about what to eat and what not to eat to create balance in the body. Having said this, I completely agree that too much pasta, pizza, rice, sugars or other high glycemic foods are bad for the body by making you too acidic as well as spiking blood sugar and should be consumed in moderation or avoided completely. Avoid too much corn, including corn chips and all kinds of potatoes EXCEPT you should eat sweet potatoes, purple potatoes (taro) and blue potatoes since they are known to reduce risk of cancer and destroy cancer cells. White potatoes are especially bad, causing spikes in blood sugar and poisoning the body with toxic substances which makes them categorically a member of the nightshade family of foods humans should not eat. Soy and tomatoes happen to also be members of this toxic family and should be avoided for the most part. There are always more than just the simple facts to research about what foods to avoid or eat and it's very rarely as easy as just do or don't eat a food with sugar in it. Consider what type of sugar it is, whether it's a high or low glycemic food, what the cofactors are, how the molecular structure of the food changes after cooking (some foods are better, some are worse after cooking), whether the food creates ash in the body that's acidic or alkalizing and so on.... Also remember that meat should be free range and hormone free as well. Avoid food grown in China, and make sure it has the organic certification from the FDA on it. Some meats like pork are fattened up by feeding them soy, corn and/or potatoes since the farmers know these foods mess up the thyroid which regulates appetite and weight. Don't you make the same mistake of eating these foods. Also keep in mind that whatever was fed to these animals is also going into your body if you eat meat from these animals. Be mindful of everything you consume and take a few minutes to research the item before you ingest it to make sure it's reasonably safe. Always read labels to check for chemicals, additives, allergens, sugar, flavorings, etc. that you would consider to be undesirable and harmful to your health. This is certainly not an exhaustive list of things to be cautious about, but it's definitely a start and should make a noticeable difference toward improving health if you think you're at risk of diabetes or other related illness.  I hope this helps.

    I figured out “amazing fivu com” (Google it) from my good friend and read it to shed weight and heal my diabetic issues. I`d been following a rigid workout and diet program. I had been able to decrease Thirty-five points from my blood sugar levels right after a day on the diet program. After 4 days, I lost Sixty points from my blood glucose levels. It`s been efficient for me personally. I am very happy that I managed to normalize my blood sugar levels.

    isn't the intrnet great?! I commend you for taking your health into you own hands. One thing though. Metformin is one of the safest "drugs" available. Diarea is about the only possible side effect and is usually only until your system adjusts to it. I continue to take mine even though all my tests come back as normal.Google "metformin life extension" It appears there is some evidence that it helps with longevity!
