Gina was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was nine years and has been dependent on insulin ever since. After years of suffering, she received an islet cell transfer as part of a clinical trial at City of Hope. Since then, she says she’s been insulin-free.

回复删除I’m so confused? I have type one diabetes, where is this why can’t I get it
回复删除This “amazing fivu com” (Google it) could help you get a more healthy lifestyle and become free of diabetic issues at the same time. The manual have taught me regarding how cells aren`t able to feed on glucose because of fat. With “amazing fivu com” (Search Google), I had been able to stay away from the dangerous effects of diabetes to my whole body, and eventually, demise..
回复删除my dad died from diabetes type 1 recently. something that could been helpful 3 months ago. I didn't do much to research that for him. only after his death did I realize how serious it was.
回复删除That what I feel like when I’m going to bed i don’t know if I’ll go low or just slip into a comma.
回复删除My boyfriend almost died yesterday.😥😥 It was and still is really scary. He is 27 years old and was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes yesterday. Does anyone know who we can get him on this trial? Thanks.
回复删除I get the transplant thing...but how do they stop the immune system from attaking those cells again? Like...a type 1 diabetic still has antibodies, doesn't he?

回复删除I am 64 years old and I learned I have diabetes ten months ago. I can’t imagine that I have diabetes and it frightens me that I will also endure the same troubles like my father did. Thankfully, I was able to get my hands on this information (Go Here==https://plus.google.com/110226900097507142274/posts/2q9ksCSYX18 ). The primary test outcomes show that my blood sugar was at 183 and my A!C was 7.3. I read through the program meticulously for a week and now my A1C decreased to 5.9.
回复删除This is truly disgusting. This is why healthcare for profit is so wrong.
回复删除You can’t cure type 1 diabetes yet. This treatment has been used for many years and is an established way of controlling the most poorly managed type 1 diabetics. It’s been used in the U.K. since the 1980’s. It’s not a cure but in some cases can avoid swings in blood sugar levels with good insulin control and rigorous carb counting.
Type 1 diabetes is hard enough without these vultures discouraging the use of insulin which is currently the only way of controlling type 1.
Ignore this shite and concentrate on good blood sugar level control and insulin management with the help of a qualified health professional.
I have a lot of questions about clinical trials.
回复删除I have a friend battling diabetes type 1 since 11, I am willing to donate to her. can I donate some islets and remain normal?
Why is this bitch crying
回复删除I'm 11 and I just got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes it's life-changing situation that's lifelong
回复删除i have type 1, i NEVER THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE A CURE OMG IM SO HAPPY!!
回复删除I strongly disagree with what people think about tipe 1 diabetes. I've had it for 6 months now, and can say that its the best thing that has happened to me! It made me more aware of how i should eat healthier, i take 4 insulin shots a day and i am fine with that, i have learned how to calculate the amount of insulin that i need when i eat, and im having exactly the same life that i had before getting diagnosed. Im 20 years old, and i have no worries. I can manage my treatment and i will live a happy life from now on. The girl in the video is dramatising so much, the baddest i felt since i started the treatment is when i got a bigger amount of insulin then i should have, and i started sweating, shaking and getting this big hunger sensation, which lasted for like 4-5 minutes, and it didnt even feel that bad as it sounds. My point is that if anyone is diagnosed with tipe 1 diabetes, if he is "strong" enough, he will have a long happy life, and im not even that "strong". Why i didnt have a single drop of fear since i started the treatment? Because i learned in 5 days under doctors observation how to control my blood sugar, and thats all i needed to get back to my normal life.
回复删除Doctor help meeeeee!!!!!!!!!! Seriously I am a child with type 1 diabetes.
回复删除im type 1im think ing of killing myself
回复删除Type 1 diabetes is not that bad. I have had it for 5 years now and doing just fine. If u check ur blood sugar and take insulin u are fine
